Service Agreement

By placing an order, you give Patriot Sign Installation permission to enter that property to complete the job. With this permission comes the knowledge that we will be installing a signpost or stake into the ground.

Patriot Sign Installation will make every attempt to complete orders as quickly as possible. We will install signposts within three business days after receiving the request. Weekends and holidays are not considered business days. Work may be halted because of hazardous weather conditions.

Patriot Sign Installation takes every precaution, however, it is impossible to see delicate underground piping or wiring, such as sprinkler systems, gas lines, dog fences, or other types of cables. It is the responsibility of the real estate agent to notify us if there are any concern. It is also the responsibility of the agent or homeowner to determine if approvals are needed from utility companies or Dig Safe and to mark a location that is clear of hazards. Patriot Sign Installation will not contact the homeowner directly for location information. We are not responsible for damages made to underground objects.

Agents should verify that the property owners or condo associations will allow a sign to be installed.

House lots, land, and new construction sites must be marked for sign location. Sign location should be at least five feet from sidewalks, walkways, and driveways. Please confirm that a location has been marked and write instructions on the order form to identify and locate the marker.

Removal orders should be placed three business days before a closing. Agents need to make homeowners aware that we will be removing the signpost, so that posts are not placed in an inaccessible area. We will not enter a closed garage, shed, or fenced area into which we cannot see.

Patriot Sign Installation will gladly store your signs and posts free of charge. By storing your signs, we can expedite the installation and removal processes. All signs and posts are clearly labeled and stored together; this ensures that your post will be installed with your listing. If any sign or post is damaged while in our facility, it will be replaced at Patriot Sign Installation's expense. Once the sign or post has been installed at a listing site, it is no longer the responsibility of Patriot Sign Installation.

If a sign post is lost or damaged while at a property, the brokerage listing the property is responsible for the associated costs (the cost of the post and shipping). Please remind homeowners to avoid removing posts.

Patriot Sign Installation guarantees quality sign installations. If a post is crooked, twisted, has fallen over, or if the installer did not follow instructions, we will fix the sign free of charge. That being said, when booking an installation with Patriot Sign Installation, you pay for one trip. If we must return to a property because the wrong address is provided or because the realtor is unhappy with the placement location, the realtor will be charged twenty-five dollars. Our online installation system asks specifically for installation instructions, so if you have a specific spot in mind, please list it there the first time.
